To provide a means for communication, sharing of ideas, and exploration and development of academic programs and services appropriate to the member institutions and the needs of the Greater Louisville area.

Serve as a means of communication among and between academic leaders from the member institutions.

Initiate or review programs, services, or activities proposed through Metroversity to serve member institutions, particularly their curricula, faculties, students or community constituencies.

Propose or oversee events or activities which will assist in highlighting, strengthening, or enhancing the academic programs and life of member institutions or the academic sector of all higher education in the Greater Louisville area.
