Subject to Metroversity rules and those
of the host institution, a full-time student may register for
two (2) courses for a maximum of eight (8) undergraduate
credit hours during any one semester as a visitor at another
member school. The links above
and at the bottom of the page
will take you to the individual institutions.
Because there are many hundreds of courses available in the
consortium, the educational horizons of any one student are
significantly widened. Once tuition has been paid at the home
institution, a full-time student becomes eligible for all the
benefits of Metroversity without additional cost.
Metroversity also has programs for
member schools to improve the faculty and instructional
development, and to develop student leadership at member
schools
The libraries of the member institutions also participate in
this cooperative effort. Library privileges and
courier services are also available from the public libraries
associated with Metroversity and its Library Council. These
include Louisville Free Public Library, Jeffersonville
Township Public Library, and the New Albany-Floyd County
Public Library.
